We verify cases that meet the following criteria:

  • Virality: We prioritize viral cases on at least two social networks, received through our chatbot Central Cazadores, or disseminated in mass media.
  • Relevance: We select cases that are highly relevant to Venezuela or Venezuelans, especially those related to public health, elections, civil coexistence, discrimination, natural disasters, and influence operations on public interest topics.
  • Verifiability: We only verify claims that can be proven or refuted with reliable sources of information and tangible data.
